Refunds & Cancellation

Effective August 7, 2026

Who you bought from

The subscription is sold and billed by Stripe, not by us. You buy it through Stripe's Link checkout, Stripe is the merchant of record, and Stripe is the party your bank sees: on your statement the charge reads LINK.COM* STRUMHOLD. Oxware runs the Strumhold service itself. See the terms.

If an unfamiliar charge is what brought you here, that's the one. Email support@strumhold.com before you dispute it with your bank. We can tell you what it was, and we can sort it out faster than a chargeback will.

Cancelling

You can cancel your subscription at any time, yourself, without emailing us. In the app, open your account and choose Manage subscription; that takes you to the Stripe billing portal, where cancelling is one click.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. You keep what you subscribed to until then, and you simply aren't charged again. On the yearly plan that means you get the full year you paid for; nothing is cut short.

What happens to your practice

Nothing. Your practice history lives on your device and stays there. Cancelling only stops the backing up and syncing, and on Pro the Diagnosis. If you ever resubscribe, signing in restores it with no second charge for the same period.

Refunds

Because a cancelled subscription runs to the end of its paid period, refunds aren't automatic: there's no unused time to give back. If something went wrong, say you were charged twice or charged when you didn't mean to subscribe, email support@strumhold.com and we'll look at it case by case. We're a small operation and we'd rather be fair than rigid.

Since Stripe is the seller, the refund itself comes from Stripe and lands back on the card it came from. Stripe and Link will take questions about the charge directly too, but we're happy to be the ones who ask them.
